Employers are faced with the staggering costs of providing health care coverage to their employees. Obesity is also affecting people with bigger salaries. A recent study being presented at the American Heart Association shows that the prevalence of obesity is growing three times faster among Americans who make more than $60,000 a year than it is among their low-income neighbors.
